Our favorite quotes from Disneyland...
Mom: We are almost to Disneyland Mason! We are going to see Mickey and Minnie and Goofy...
Mason: And Chip and Dale!
Mom: Yep! And Daisy, Donald, Tink...
Mason: And Chip and Dale Mom! Don't forget!
Brightyn: No! No! No! No! Mommy, stop!
(Excuse me! Just trying to take some pictures! :-)
Dad: Mason, let's go ride....NEMO!
Mason: Oh boy! You are my best Daddy ever!
Brightyn: Hi Namma!
Mason: Grandma, LOOK!
Dad: Mason - we have to go home and take a nap!
Mason: Dad, you have two choices, rockets or tea cups.
Dad: We can come back and ride them both after we come back from naps.
Mason: Dad, we're gonna fight.
Mason: (To his yogurt and apples)
Now which one of you should I eat first? Yogurt? Apple? Yogurt? Apple? I think I will eat you together!
Mason: Mom? Is it time to go home to the palace? (Our hotel)
Brightyn: MINNIE!
Mason: And Chip and Dale!

I am not sure if someone can take a child to Disneyland and not feel enchanted!
When their eyes light up as their favorite characters walk by.
How they squeeze them tight when they meet them for the first time.
The way they laugh and dance on their favorite rides.
Awesome! Perfect! MAGIC!

I knew we would enjoy it, but I wasn't expecting to LOVE it that much! But there are not a lot of things that compare to it in my experience as a Mom. Granted - I am still somewhat of a newbie, but MAN, that was fun! My Mother-in-law made Mason a count down chain (THANK YOU!) that started with 23 days. It has been the talk of the summer in our house - I can barely believe it is over... *sniff sniff*
So, I took about 400 GOOD pictures - don't worry, I will only post my favorites with few stories here and there!
DAY 1 - WAHOO!
We talked to Mason about the 5 steps for getting to Disneyland:
1 - Go to the airport
2- Fly on the plane to Califonia
3- Get a car
4- Drive to our hotel and unpack
5- Walk to DISNEYLAND!

He kept repeating it and once a step was done - he let us know!
Mase and "Namma" enjoying the flight!

Daddy and Bright spent 90% of the flight looking out the window! She was fascinated!

We followed each step, and it was finally time - DISNEYLAND!!!
When we got there and the parade was in full swing. Mason got a glimpse of all the characters in the first minutes of our visit.
His eyes wide and jaw to the ground - that was priceless!

Camie and Tyler came for a few days! We loved having them there! The day we got there was Ty's birthday so we had a few gifts and Stacie brought some cupcakes and candles to try and make it special! Once we got to the park - we were all starving so we went to eat!

Our very first ride? Small World! Brightyn couldn't stop staring, dancing and singing! Mason was pretty happy with it as well! She kept asking "All done?" at the end and was pretty sad when it was over.

Right after we got off our boat she forgot all about the ride when the firework show started...
We decided to go on a few rides so that we didn't have to fight the large exiting crowd. Off to the Tea cups and Dumbo...

We also went on Pirates...Mason kept asking "When are we getting out of here" and Brightyn just held onto Chris tight. That is going to be one for a trip when they are older!
As you can see, we were all pretty hammered from the day of travel and all the excitement - especially Brightyn. We headed home to our "palace" as Mason called it, and turned in for the night!
Day 2 - WAHOO!
First things first - We had to get the kids their first pair of Mouse ears! This was probably one of my favorite parts! They looked adorable - even though Brightyn didn't wear hers for long! Mason wore his most of the day - PLEASE don't let him grow up!!!

CHIP AND DALE! Thank goodness we found these two rodents.
Mason was pretty clear that he MUST see them!

Me and my boyfriend...

On to TOONTOWN for the main event! Meeting Mickey has been the goal from day one! Papa flew in that morning so the kids were extra excited!
So, we went to his house and there he was!
(HORRIBLE RED EYE, I KNOW)

Mason rode his first rollercoaster while Papa and Brightyn watched from the sidelines!
He held on to me tight - you could tell he was scared - but he let out a lot of Wooo's!
Next time, the ears will come off!

Brightyn couldn't get enough of Papa E, Mason couldn't get on enough rides and the rest of us were just enjoying them enjoying it!

This is Brightyn trying to turn the cup all by herself!
Didn't work out so great - she is pretty impatient.
Cannot imagine where she gets it from...
