My sister Melanie and I decided to make the 9 hour trip and ended up making it in about 12! Brightyn was NOT a happy camper and with 5 kids - you are bond to make some stops I guess. But once we got there it was great and we had a lot of fun with 4 of our 6 siblings around. We went boating, ate some good food, swam at Jon and Bobbi's pool and talked a lot!
The kids LOVED the cousin sleepovers and playtime they were able to have! Mason was so excited to play with the big boys, and the girls doted on Brightyn!
All the boys got nerf guns that offered hours of entertainment!
We spent A LOT of time in the pool - one at a really great community park - and Jon and Bobbi's amazing new crib!
The community park was complete with a small pool, a zip-line swing, a rock climbing wall, a swing set and a huge playhouse with slides and such! Pretty awesome for the kids!
Jon and Bobbi just built an amazing house with an awesome pool! The kids had so much fun and they were awesome hosts! After a fun day in sun, they set up a movie for the kids outside on the deck and they thought that was pretty cool!
One of the highlights for the kids was going to see Papa at work! He always spoils them (this time they all got hats, drinks, treats and of course a tractor ride) and it makes my kids so happy!

We also always go to eat at a cute little sandwich place - a market really that has great food! They also have a few rides (a merry-go-round, plane ride and a train ride) All of them are pretty ghetto - not going to lie - but the kids didn't notice and they had a great time!
One night we had my cute nephew Christian watch the kids and went to a fun party that my parents were invited to! There were a ton of people, great food, awesome homemade lemonade (YUMMY) and John Denver. Okay - a John Denver impersonator that was really great! My sister Melanie sang a few songs (she did a great job) and there was a little Karaoke...okay A LOT of Karaoke! My Dad and his buddies were hilarious! Who knew my parents were SO MUCH FUN!!! ;-) I had such a blast and laughed a lot!
It is always so fun to spend time with my family, and I love seeing my Mom! She looks amazing and as you can see above, she is such a pretty lady as are my sisters! I am so blessed to have such a fun family - I love you guys!

looks like you guys had alot of fun! and holy cow that guy looks exactly like john denver. for reals was he pulling a fast one on you because i'm pretty sure he was the real thing, not just an impersonater!
